Supercharger is a lightweight application developed by Dead’Soul, available to download at the MysterCrowley.com web site. This tool works as a resident application showing an icon at your system tray from which you control the whole program. In fact, there’s nothing more than that which gives you an idea of the simplicity involved.
Supercharger is an ingenious application which does something very simple to improve the performance of your system: it dynamically changes the process priority assigned to the different applications running simultaneously, in such a way that the active application gets the “high” priority level. So the only particular ability of Supercharger is to monitor the active application at everytime and modify the priority level assigned.
An additional feature of Supercharger is a cleaner for temporary files. This feature doesn’t work automatically or in a scheduled manner, but you have to run it manually. You can do this from the pop up menu by right clicking the Supercharger icon on the system tray. Once the cleaning process is done it will inform the amount of temporary files cleaned and the disk space liberated.
